The World Heritage Site Skogskyrkogården is considered one of the most important creations of modern architecture. In this audio tour, you walk between pines, paths, and buildings such as the Forest Chapel, the Monument Hall, and the Resurrection Chapel. You will hear about the background of the site’s creation and the visions of architects Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz.

The Skogskrematoriet (Woodland Crematorium) and its three chapels are currently undergoing restoration. This means that some of the locations included in the audio walk may be difficult to access up close, and you may need to take an alternative route around them. However, you can still listen to the audio tracks and view the slideshow images. The restoration work is expected to be completed in 2027.
